Olive Street to Partially Close
St. Charles Public Works announces closure of Olive Street Feb. 28-29.
A portion of Olive Street will close between North Second Street and the Missouri River Parking Lot and boat launch from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 28 and 29.
A portion of the road will be excavated to install a 24-inch force main for the Adams Street Force Main Project.
While construction is happening, a 15-foot wide lane will be available. The excavation will be plated and the road reopened during nonworking hours.

This road closure is part of a $1.9 million force main project awarded to X-L Contracing, Inc. The project will be completed by June 2012.
