Mayor Names March National Developmental Disabilities Month in St. Charles

The St. Charles Ancient Order of Hiberians Club is also recognized.

Mayor Sally Faith proclaimed the month of March National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month during the March 7 meeting.

A group of 14 community residents in the local chapter of "People First" urged the community to observe the month and presented the council with a poster that celebrates what people with disabilities have to give.

At the same meeting, Faith recognized the Ancient Order of Hiberians in St. Charles County. Irish-American men who are practicing Catholics are eligible to join the group. Learn more here.
