City Tourism Director Resigns to Teach at Lindenwood University

Martha Little will serve as interim director.

St. Charles Director of Tourism David Rosenwasser will step down from his role with the city and start working as an associate professor at Lindenwood University on June 7.

Rosenwasser started with the Greater St. Charles Convention and Vistors Bureau five years ago. He also worked as an adjunct professor for the University for the past two years.

"I had pretty much thought that around this time of life, I'd like to slow down a little bit," said Rosenwasser, 64. "An opening came available there. I thought this was a great transition opportunity to do something else that I enjoy, which is teaching and be able to somewhat take my foot off the pedal."
