Three Invade St. Charles Home, One Armed With AK-47, Police Say

St. Charles Police said Svetlana Johnson brought two men with her to retrieve her possessions from the home.

A woman faces domestic assault charges after she and two men, one armed with an AK-47 assault rifle, showed up at a St. Charles residence and forced their way inside, police said.

Svetlana Johnson, 22, of St. Charles, was charged Thursday with third-degree domestic assault.

The resident told St. Charles police he met Johnson two months ago. She was homeless, so he allowed her to stay with him at his resident in the 1500 block of Lakeshore Drive. After they argued, he told her she had to leave.
