St. Charles Police Reports Jan. 20-21

Purses, clothing stolen from cars left unlocked during a dance at Duchesne High School last weekend.

Theft During a Dance

Someone stole items from four cars parked in 's parking lot during the school's dance on the evening of Jan. 21. All four vehicles were left unlocked.

Items stolen from the cars included purses, wallets, clothing, make up bags, shoes, an ipod, phone chargers and ID among other items were stolen from her unlocked vehicle which was parked at Duchesne High School between 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. Jan. 21.

Intoxication

  • Police took an intoxicated person on North Benton Avenue into protective custody on Jan. 20 around 5 a.m.
  • An intoxicated male was taken into protective custody at South Duchesne Drive around 10 p.m. Jan. 20.
  • Police arrested someone for driving while intoxicated around 8:51 a.m. Jan. 21 in the 1000 block of North Fourth Street.
  • Police assisted emergency responders with an intoxicated pedestrian who was taken into protective custody at North Pam Avenue and Elm Street around 5 p.m. Jan. 21. The person was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Police arrested a passenger in a vehicle who interfered with an officer during a traffic stop. The person also was in possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Police took an intoxicated person who was inside the city parking garage into protective custody around 1:50 a.m. Jan. 22. 
  • Four juveniles were found on top of the school on South Sixth Street around 3:30 a.m. Jan. 22 and drug paraphernalia was found, according to police reports. 

Stealing

  • A purse was stolen from the passenger seat of a vehicle left unlocked at the gas pump while the victim went inside to pay. The incident happened at 9 a.m. Jan. 21 at a station off of Zumbehl Road. 
  • A 42-year-old woman reported on Jan. 21 that her debit card numbers were used online for transactions.
  • A 24-year-old woman reported that someone stole credit cards and other items from a car parked at Bel Rae Ct. between 6 p.m. Jan. 20 and 6:30 a.m. Jan. 21.
  • A 38-year-old woman reported four tires were stolen from the back of a pick up truck parked at Nathan Street around Jan. 16. The incident was reported Jan. 20.
  • Police took one adult and one juvenile into custody for stealing from a motor vehicle at West Clay Street in St. Charles around 7 p.m. Jan. 20.
  • A vehicle drove off without paying a $52 charge a gas station located on Elm Street around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21.
  • A 53-year-old woman reported her vehicle was broken into between midnight Jan. 20 and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21 while it was parked at Deerfield Drive. A Tom-Tom GPS unit was taken.
  • A subwoofer, amplifier, volleyball bag, book bag and gift cards were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on Sutton Ct. overnight Jan. 21. 
  • A 19-year-old woman staying at Ameristar on Jan. 22 reported a 16-year-old stole $20 and an EBT card from her. 
  • Earrings, a wallet, a tote purse, candy an Xbox 360 and shoes were among the items reportedly stolen from . Police arrested the suspect on Jan. 22.
  • A gas station on West Clay Street reported a gas drive off of $58 around 5:20 p.m. Jan. 22.

Property Damage

  • A 54-year-old woman reported that someone kicked a large dent in her driver's front door and "keyed" her vehicle while it was parked at Santa Margarita Rd. between 4:30 p.m. and 5:17 p.m. Jan. 21.
  • A woman reported on Jan. 21 that her vehicle was "keyed" while it was parked on the lot of Chuck-E-Cheese at Veterans Memorial Parkway.
  • A 34-year-old man reported property damage to his vehicle that was parked inside of the parking garage around 12:50 a.m. Jan. 22.

Death Investigation

  • Police responded to a death investigation and possible heroin overdose at a home on Treadway Avenue Jan. 21.

Fight

  • Police arrested two people for fighting outside of a restaurant in the 100 block of North Main Street around 12:45 a.m. Jan. 22.
  • Police arrested four people for fighting at North Main and Monroe Streets in St. Charles around 1:15 a.m. Jan. 22.
