St. Charles Police Reports: Customer Leaves Without Paying for $33.11 Worth of Gas

Also in the St. Charles crime report, a Lindenwood student was arrested for property damage after breaking a table in Cobbs Hall.

St. Charles Police Department provides police reports from Jan. 26 and Jan. 27, 2013. A charge does not indicate a conviction. 

• Case No. 13000715: Property damage at S Kingshighway Street. A Lindenwood student was arrested for property damage after breaking a table in Cobbs Hall.

• Case No. 13000719: Stealing, theft from a motor vehicle at Montclair Manor Drive. Suspect(s) entered unlocked vehicle during overnight hours and stole an iPod and garage door opener. The opener was valued at $180.

• Case No. 13000725: Burglary at Montclair Manor Drive. Suspects used stolen garage door opener to enter garage, however, no entry was made to house because of interior door being locked. Nothing taken. An elderly male was home during crime.

• Case No. 13000726: Stealing at S First Capitol Drive. A person drove off without paying for $33.11 worth of gas. Evidence suggests suspect tried to use credit card that did not go through.
