Brian David O'Neill was charged with domestic assault, armed criminal action and property damage in the July 2 incident.

A St. Charles man is accused of using a stun gun on his wife during an argument July 2.

Brian David O’Neill, 25, of the 800 block of North Sixth Street, was charged July 5 with second-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and second-degree property damage.

St. Charles Police said O’Neill was arguing with his wife over a lost wallet July 2 when he pulled out stun gun. The woman tried to get away, but O’Neill tackled her to the ground and begun using the stun gun on her neck, stomach and thighs while pinning her to the ground, police said.
