St. Charles Man Killed in Single Car Rollover Crash on Route 370
The accident happened Thursday evening.
A 53-year-old St. Charles man died Thursday after his Jeep traveled off Route 370 and overturned, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Scott Chilton lost control of his Jeep around 5:40 p.m. while driving east on Route 370 half a mile west of Highway 94 and it traveled off the left side of the road, hitting the concrete barrier and overturning.
Chilton was ejected from the car and was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the crash report. He was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance personnel.
