St. Charles Man Hits, Bites Girlfriend About Cell Phone, Police Say

The woman tried to get her cell phone back, and her boyfriend punched her in the side and bruised her arm by biting her, police said.

A St. Charles man faces criminal charges after St. Charles Police said he assaulted his girlfriend Sept. 22.

Louis Earl Felton, 25, of the 1700 block of Christine Drive in St. Charles, was charged Sept. 22 with third-degree domestic assault.

St. Charles Police said the Felton took his girlfriend’s cell phone. When she tried to get it back, he struck her in the side and bit her, leaving teeth marks and bruising her arm, according to the police report.

The woman left and locked herself in a car, but Felton was able to get inside and pushed his fist against her lip, pushing her head back, leaving a mark on her upper lip.

Bail was set at $7,500.
