Christopher D. Lawrence charged with selling a controlled substance.

A St. Charles man whom an undercover officers caught selling drugs in St. Peters earlier this year was arrested and charged Monday by St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's office.

According to the probable cause statement, an undercover police officer working for the St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force met Lawrence twice in St. Peters, once on Feb. 23 and once on March 14, and each time bought an ounce of marijuana. Both incidents were video and audio recorded. On June 11, Lawrence was taken into custody and told police he only sold minimal amounts of marijuana.
