St. Charles Man Charged with Assaults, Kicks, Spits on Officer
The suspect assaulted two people in Wentzville before assaulting an officer, police said.

Joshua Therrien, 29, of the 500 block of Muirfield Drive near St. Charles, is charged with two counts of third-degree assault, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
said that Therrien assaulted two people Saturday in the 1000 block of Morgan Meadow Drive. A woman had swelling and deep cuts on her face, and the man’s eye was swollen shut, according to the police report. He also told police he believed his nose was broken.

After Therrien was arrested, he kicked a police officer as the officer was putting him in the patrol car and tried to kick him again, police said in the report. The officer also said the suspecit spit on him while Therrien was being treated at a hospital.
