A St. Charles man faces criminal charges of dealing crack cocaine after a St. Charles County Drug Task Force investigation.

Brian K. Billingsley, 31, of the 1500 block of Dartmouth Drive in , was charged Thursday with distributing a controlled substance and illegal use of drug paraphernalia.

A detective reported they found 1.5 grams of crack cocaine after executing a search warrant at Billingsley’s home Aug. 15. The report said they found a digital scale, baggies and used knotted baggies with the corners cut off and items consistent with selling drugs.

Billingsley denied selling drugs, the report said. He told detectives he just served 10 years in prison and couldn’t go back, according to the report.

Bond was set at $30,000 cash only.
