St. Charles Man Charged After Showing Gun in 'Road Rage' Incident

Cecil Lee Huff, 50, is charged with pointing a gun at two people.

A St. Charles man was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon after showing gun in a threatening manor.

Cecil Lee Huff, 50, of the 500 block of North Sixth Street in St. Charles, was arrested by the St. Charles Police Department and charged on Jan. 7 following an incident on Dec. 20, 2012. Huff was charged with a class D felony after displaying his gun during a "road rage" incident.

According to the probable cause statement, in the 1700 of Zumbehl, Huff, from inside his car, pointed a fully-loaded Beretta Px4 Storm .40-caliber gun at two people. The probable cause statement said he did so in an angry and threatening manner. Police said the action was an attempt to cause physical injury to both victims and instill fear.

Huff's bond was set at $25,000. A disposition hearing has been set for 9 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2013.
