St. Charles Crime Reports: Oct. 26-Nov. 1

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Stealing

A woman reported that she had an agreement with someone to fix some of her jewelry. Since July of 2011 the victim had not seen or heard from the suspect and on Oct. 25, she was notified that some of the jewelry was being pawned on North Fifth Street.

Residential burglary was reported at home on N. Fifth Street between 8:45 Oct. 26 and 4 p.m. Oct. 26. The burglar forced entry through a front window and took electronics and jewelry.

A cell phone valued at $599 was reportedly taken from a shop on Bass Pro Drive between 5:30p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 26.

A man reported the rear license plate was stolen from his work vehicle from West Clay Street between 11:20 p.m. on July 30 and 5 p.m. Oct. 26.

Three money orders taken from a mailbox in Sherman Square Drive and cashed. Stolen between 1 p.m. Oct. 23 and 2:20 Oct. 24.

Items valued at $265 reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Lindenwood campus between 10 p.m. Oct. 27 and midnight Oct. 28.

A woman was arrested for stealing from Schnucks on Zumbehl at 4 p.m. Oct. 28.

Person stole $32 in gas around 9:20 p.m. Oct. 28 from Petro Mart on South First Capitol.

Almost $100 worth of tanning products were reported stolen from Tan Co. on Regency Parkway around 2:4 p.m. Oct. 31.

A Walmart employee stole a chainsaw blade while working, returned the blade and stole the money and later completed a written confession.

Woman reported missing $50 from her wallet which she mistakenly left in the Fox Hill Apartment's laundry room between 6:30 p.m. and 9:13 p.m. on Oct. 30.

Arrests

Three people were burning paper on the swimming pool parking lot off of Droste Road. Summons were issued to two adults and one juvenile at 4:16 p.m. Oct. 26.

Person found passed out behind wheel of vehicle in possession of drugs and parphanelia in plain view. Seen in Country Club Plaza Drive at 11:27 on Oct. 28.

Two people were arrested for trespassing at a business on North Main at 11:36 p.m. on Oct. 29.

A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody between 12:15 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. in the 400 block of South Main Street on Oct. 29.

Property Damage

A 56-year-old man reported that on he noticed the side view mirrors on both of his cars were ripped off between 10 p.m. Oct. 26 and 9:15 a.m. Oct. 27. Both cars were parked in front of house in 800 block of West Adams.

Firearms valued at $1,100 were reportedly stolen from an unlocked motor vehicle at Clock Tower Square on Oct. 29.

Person reported a suspect took a $100 bill out of their hand and ran down the street. Happened between 10 p.m. and 11:22 p.m. Oct. 30.

Someone attempted to steal eight long-stem roses from North Main Street in St. Charles around 1:16 a.m. on Oct. 30 but was pursued.
