St. Charles Crime Reports Aug. 3 to Aug. 9

First Degree Burglary
A suspect forced open the front door of a house in the 1500 block of Boone's Lick Road around 1 a.m. Aug. 7. The suspect, who was known to one of the victims, threatened to shoot the people in the house. Police are investigating.

Attempted Burglary
Someone attempted to break into the home in the 100 block of Eau Claire. A window pane was broken and aluminum storm frame had pry marks on it. The attempt was reported at 1:38 p.m. Aug. 7.

Credit Card Stolen
A credit card was reported missing by a person who discovered it was lost on Aug. 5 when the woman tried to pay for lunch. The card had been used at the Dierberg's grocery store. More than $600 was charged at in St. Charles, $900 at Walmart in St. Peters, more than $900 at Target in Bridgeton, and more than $900 at Walmart in Alton, IL. Police said they have no suspects or arrests as of Aug. 9.
Gas Station Robbery
The , located at 2240 North Third Street, was robbed at knifepoint around 2:10 a.m. Aug. 6. Police are searching for the suspect.
Gas Drive Off
A gas drive off was reported at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 3 from a gas station in the 2300 block of Old Highway 94 South. Someone also left without paying for gas at the located at 3750 New Town Boulevard, around 6:15 p.m. Aug. 7
