St. Charles Condominium Complex Catches Fire

The fire started before 6 a.m. in a six-unit building at Sherman Oaks condominiums. One woman sustained minor injuries.

St. Charles County firefighters battled a condominium fire Monday morning that left several units with damage.

The fire, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, started before 6 a.m. in a six-unit building at 2000 Sherman Square Drive at Sherman Oaks Condominiums. Some of the neighboring apartments had smoke damage.

The Red Cross St. Louis-Area Chapter is also on the scene to help those affected.

A female resident who lives in the unit where the fire started suffered minor injuries, the Post-Dispatch reported. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
