Police Search for Two Men Who Robbed Petro Mart Saturday Morning

St. Charles Police said two men robbed the Petro Mart at 2240 North Third Street in St. Charles.

Two men robbed the Petro Mart at 2240 North Third Street early Saturday morning.

St. Charles police said officers responded to the gas station at about 3:09 a.m. for a reported robbery.

An investigation revealed that two men entered the store and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. The suspects assaulted the clerk and got away with an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes.

The men left the store and robbed two customers on the store’s parking lot at gunpoint, taking one customer’s wallet.  The men were last seen on foot running away from the business.

The clerk was treated on scene by EMS and released with minor injuries.

One suspect was described as a black male, in his late teens or early 20s, wearing an orange hoodie, gray jeans and a ball cap. The second suspect was described as a black male, in his late teens early twenties, wearing a white polo shirt with blue stripes, white shorts and a red colored ball cap.

Police provided photos of the men taken by the store’s security cameras.
