Police Reports: TV Reportedly Stolen From Vacant Home on South Sixth Street

St. Charles Police Reports from April 11 and 12 are provided by the City of St. Charles Police Department. A charge does not indicate a conviction.

A television was reportedly stolen from a vacant house on South Sixth Street that is up for sale. The home was burglarized between 11 a.m. April 11 and noon April 12. Only the TV was stolen. 

Accident

  • A suspect left the scene of an accident in the 800 block of Oak driving through grass to get away around 2 a.m. April 11. Someone called police to advise what he witnessed.

  • Police arrested someone for police disturbance in the city parking garage around 1:39 a.m. April 11. 

Property Damage

  • A 31-year-old woman reported damage to the back door of her residence on Nathan Street around 3:20 a.m. April 11. 
  • A 27-year-old man reported that his vehicle was parked in front o fhis residence in Dale Ct. on April 4 and a trash truck backed into his car around 11 a.m.

  • St. Peters urgent care reported a cat bite that occurred in the 1800 block of La Brea. 

Stealing

  • A brass portable water meter was stolen from the storage lot behind a building on New Town Blvd between 5:30 p.m. April 10 and 7 a.m. April 11. The water meter was valued at $1,000.

Drug Possession

  • A traffic stop around 4:50 p.m. on April 11 at the intersection of Second Street and Decatur resulted in the passenger being arrested for possession of marijuana. 
  • Police found four students in a Lindenwood campus house on Nathan smoking marijuana around 10:20 p.m. April 11. They were issued summons and the paraphernalia was seized. 

Trespassing 

  • Police arrested several people for trespassing on property in the 600 block of Lindenwood at 7 a.m. April 12. All of the people ran to avoid arrest, but were stopped and arrested. 

Gas Drive Off

  • Circle K on Harry S Truman Blvd. reported a gas drive off around 9:18 a.m. April 12. 
  • A gas drive off was reported from a gas station on South Old Highway 94 on April 12 at 11 a.m.
