Police Reports: Man Robbed After Leaving North Main Street

St. Charles Police Reports May 2-4. The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 21-year-old man was reportedly robbed after leaving a bar in the 140 block of North Main Street around 1 a.m. May 4. The man left the bar after exchanging words with someone and tried to return to his vehicle.

He was attacked by four males in the alley between Quintessential and R.T. Weiler's. The man's cell phone and money were stolen.

Burglary

  • The rear window of a business in the 500 block of South Main Street was broken out between 4:30 p.m. May 3 and 10:40 a.m. May 4. About $165 in cash in clothing was taken.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon

  • Shots were fired into a home and a vehicle on Bee Jay Drive around 1 a.m. April 2.

Assault

  • A 31-year-old woman reported she arrived to her home on De Roy Ln. and was assaulted by three men between 2:45 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. May 2. She received minor lacerations to the face and no medical attention was required. Police are investigating.
  • A 17-year-old woman reported assault in the third degree at Cunningham Avenue and Woodlawn Drive around 2:53 p.m. May 2.

Fight

  • Two seventh grade boys were involved in a fight in the gym at a school on Elm Street on May 2. Neither student was reportedly injured.

Stealing

  • A Macbook Air laptop was reportedly stolen from a dorm room at Cobbs Hall on Lindenwood University's Campus between 12:50 p.m. and 1:06 p.m. May 2.
  • A 22-year-old man reported a check was taken from his friend's vehicle while parked on North Third Street around 5:30 p.m. May 2.
  • A laptop valued at $2,000 was taken from between 4:20 and 4:30 p.m. May 2.
  • A 57-year-old man reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle parked at Wood Eagles Drive between 10 p.m. May 2 and 6 a.m. May 3 and stole firearms and binoculars.
  • A 23-year-old man reported someone entered his unlocked car parked on Wood Eagles Drive overnight and stole property.
  • A 60-year-old woman reported someoen entered three unlocked vehicles parked in her driveway on Brandy Ct. between 1:45 a.m. and 2 a.m. May 3 looking for property to steal.
  • Three catalytic converters were reportedly stolen from vehicles parked on a back parking lot of a business on Mexico Road between 9:30 a.m. May 2 and 9:38 May 3.
  • Someone stole about $20 in change from an unlocked vehicle parked on Longleaf Ct. between 10 p.m. May 2 and 6 a.m. May 3.

Trespassing

  • A 28-year-old woman reported someone trespassed on her property on Headland Drive around 11 p.m. May 2 and knocked on her bedroom window.

Driving While Intoxicated

  • Police arrested someone for Driving While Intoxicated on Elm Street around 12:30 p.m. May 3.
  • Police arrested someone for Driving While Intoxicated at North Kingshighway and Adams Street around 12:47 a.m. May 3.
  • Police stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain a single lane while on Westbound I-70 East of Zumbehl Drive around 2 a.m. May 4. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
