Police Reports: Man Punches Nurse in the Face

St. Charles Police Reports April 25-28 are provided by the City of St. Charles Police Department. A charge does not indicate a conviction.

Man Punches Nurse in the Face 

  • A patient admitted to a facility on First Capitol Drive was unhappy and punched a 35-year-old female nurse in the face around 10 p.m. April 26. The man was issued a summons for assault in the third degree. 

Man Arrested for Assaulting Officer

  • arrested a man who attempted to assault a police officer who was responding to a disturbance at the man's house at Stone Meadow Ct. on April 25 around 2:21 a.m.

  • A 24-year-old man came out of a Main Street bar around midnight April 26 and discovered his driver's window was smashed ou, although nothing was missing.

Fight on Main Street

  • St. Charles Police on foot patrol broke up a fight in front of a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street around midnight April 28. All of the people fighting fled except two, who declined medical treatment. 
  • Police arrested a man who punched a 24-year-old in the mouth, breaking his teeth after an argument about the 24-year-old stepping on the other man's shoes. The fight broke out in the 100 block of North Main around 1 a.m. April 28.

  • A 31-year-old woman reported she found a bullet hole in her car door while it was parked on Clark Street between 11:30 p.m. April 24 and 10:16 a.m. April 25.
  • A 28-year-old man reported someone shot his windshield with a pellet gun between 4:20 a.m. and 5:34 a.m. April 26. A 29-year-old man also reported someone hit his car with a pellet gun in the same time frame. Both live on South Kingshighway.

Burglary

  • A 84-year-old man reported his rear cellar door was forced open between April 18 and April 25 at his home in the 400 block of North Kingshighway. 

Stealing

  • A 45-year-old man reported his 6-year-old daughter's trampoline was stolen around 4:30 p.m. April 25 from his home at Hyannis Ct. The man reported he suspected the people who stole it had yelled at his daughter a few days before.
  • A 57-year-old man reported someone removed his fake security camera of of his shed at the back of his property on Bryn Mawr Drive between 11:30 p.m. April 25 and 7:30 p.m. April 26.
