Police Reports: Jeep Stolen from Park Avenue

Stealing

  • Electronics and change were stolen from a car parked at Veterans Memorial Parkway and Zumbehl Road between 5:55 a.m. and 4 p.m. May 10.
  • About $400 was stolen from a car parked in the 1500 block of Zumbehl Road between 9:05 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. May 11.
  • A business on Veterans Memorial Parkway reported someone stole six used batteries between 12:55 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. May 14. 
  • A 2003 Jeep Liberty was stolen from Park Avenue between 7 p.m. May 14 and 9 a.m. May 15.

Robbery

  • on Zumbehl Road around 11 a.m. May 15. 
  • Police stopped a pedestrian at Hawks Nest Drive and Falcons Way around 11:37 a.m. May 15 while looking for the suspect who robbed the bank. The person stopped was wanted on warrants.

  • A car parked on North Riverside Drive and Monroe was reportedly damaged around 1:38 a.m. May 11. 
  • Property damage at the former restaurant, Beatniks, on Rue Royale Street in St. Charles, happened between 2 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. May 11. 
  • Police are investigating a barn fire in the 3800 block of Elm Pointe Road near Elm Point Industrial and Huster Roads around 4 p.m. May 11.
  • A 22-year-old woman reported her boyfriend broke a living room window of her townhouse during an argument around 2:30 p.m. May 12.
  • The front window of a school on Droste Road was shot out overnight between 10:30 p.m. May 13 and 5:55 a.m. May 14.
  • A 42-year-old was approached in front of his home on Honey Locust Lane by someone who asked for money around 1 p.m. May 14. The man ran from the suspect who followed him onto his property and kicked over a mailbox. The suspect was arrested and assaulted a police officer. 
  • Police arrested a woman for shoplifting from a business on Veterans Memorial Parkway around 4:30 p.m. May 12.  Items stolen included a candle holder, bandages, toothbrush caps, a comb, swim shorts, tshirts, a keyboard, book light and USB cable. 

Drug Use

  • Police pulled over a car on Lakeshore Drive around 3:33 a.m. May 12 for careless and imprudent driving. The driver was found to be intoxicated and tried to dump suspected cocaine. The passenger in the front seat was found to have an Adderal pill. Both were arrested.
