Police Report: Man Assaulted in City Parking Garage

St. Charles Police Reports March 13-16. The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Man Assaulted in City Parking Garage

  • A 22-year-old man reported he was assaulted in the on 2nd Street at 11 p.m. March 13 and sustained minor injuries. The incident was reported around 1 a.m. March 14. 

Assault

  • A 21-year-old woman was reportedly assaulted by a friend on March 14 who suspected infidelity involving her boyfriend. The suspect also struck the woman's car with her car. Police arrested the suspect at her home.
  • A 30-year-old woman was reportedly struck by a car driven by someone who was also being verbally abusive. Police found the suspect who was then arrested March 14. 
  • A 25-year-old man was the victim of third-degree assault on March 15 after a domestic argument escaled into each person throwing a computer at the other.

Copper Back Flow Valves Stolen

  • A back flow valve was stolen from a home on Par Drive between March 10 and 14. 
  • A copper back flow valve was stolen from a home on Angelique Place between 5 p.m. March 8 and noon March 15. 
  • A copper back-lflow preventor was stolen from a home on Angelique place on March 15 around 4:45 p.m.

Lawn Ornaments Stolen 

  • A religious statue valued at $150 was stolen from the front yard of a home on Silvertrail Drive around 6:15 p.m. March 14. 
  • A lawn ornament was stolen from a home on Silvertrail Drive between midnight March 7 and 3:30 p.m. March 15.

  • Police found a man passed out in his vehicle with it in drive while on First Capitol Drive around 4:30 p.m. March 15. The man admitted to taking heroin an hour before in St. Louis County. He was in possession of drug paraphenalia but refused EMS treatment and was released on summons. 

Vehicle Stolen Off of Lot

  • A 2010 Ford Mustang GT valued at $24,925 was reportedly stolen from a sales lot from an unknown man on West Clay Street at 12:50 p.m. March 15. 

Stealing

  • A 29-year-old woman reported that her wallet with several items inside were stolen at Target on March 14. 
  • A vehicle filled up with gas and then left the PetroMart on Elm Street without paying on March 14 at 3:10 p.m. 
  • A swing was reportedly stolen from a home on Morgan Street between 8 a.m.  and 6:40 p.m. March 14. 
  • A 12-pack of beer and a pack of cigarettes were reportedly stolen from a gas station on Zumbehl Road on March 14.
  • A Samsung MP3 Player, iPhone charger and wallet were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on North Third Street between 10 p.m. March 14 and 12:30 a.m. March 15. 
  • Scrap metal was reportedly stolen from the side of the building on West Clay Street between 5:30 p.m.March 14 and 7 a.m. March 15. 
  • A 19-year-old man reported his wallet was stolen from his dorm room on South Kingshighway between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 15. His credit cards were used in St. Louis County and Illinois.
