Police Reports: Tires Stolen from Car Parked on Bishop's Landing

St. Charles Police Reports from April 18-19.

Tires Stolen 

  • Tires were stolen from a car parked at Bishop's Landing in St. Charles between 5 p.m. April 17 and midnight April 18. 
  • A woman reported her husband took a tire and license plate from her car which was parked in the Ameristar Casino parking garage between 9 p.m. April 17 and 12:45 a.m. April 18. 

Protective Custody

  • Police took a man into protective custody after they found him wandering around the city parking garage without keys or a car in the garage. He had been causing a disturbance in front of a bar on North Main Street around midnight April 18, gotten into a cab, then gotten out near the parking garage. 

Public Urination

  • An intoxicated person was seen urinating in public and was taken into protective custody. The incident happened around 1:37 a.m. April 18 at Sherman Drive.

  • A 50-year-old woman reported that her wedding ring was stolen between 11:30 a.m. April 17 and 7:30 a.m. April 18. She suspects her step son, who is addicted to heroin, stole it from their home on Perry Street. 

Trespassing

  • Police arrested a student for trespassing at a home in the 500 block of Houston Street around 2:20 p.m. April 18. 

Property Damage 

  • A 20-year-old man reported his car was keyed from front to rear on the driver's side while parked on the street between 9:25 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. April 19 at Watson and South Gamble.

Stealing

  • A cell phone, wallet and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1700 block fo Michaelwood Ct. between 9 p.m. April 18 and 7 a.m. April 19. 

Runaway

  • Three juvenile girls ran away from Preferred Family Healthcare between 10:39 and 10:49 p.m. April 19.
