Police Investigate Fatal Car Crash in Downtown St. Charles
The crash on South Second Street involved a single driver who died at the scene.
A 28-year-old man died in a car crash in the 600 block of South Second Street in St. Charles around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
St. Charles Police are investigating the crash, which involved just one car driven by David M. Crawford of the 100 block of Whetstone Drive in St. Charles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a press release from , witnesses said Crawford was driving on southbound South Second Street and lost control of his vehicle which overturned ejecting Crawford.

Police reconstruction investigators are trying to determine factors contributing to the accident, according to the press release.
