Police Blotter: Suspect Arrested for DWI, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute

Resisting Arrest

  • Police made an arrest for interfering with an officer, resisting arrest, peace disturbance and trespassing on March 21 at N. Kingshighway Street.

  • A subject made fraudulent attempts to make online purchase with victim`s credit card in the 2600 block of Muegge on March 21. 

Stealing

  • Power and hand tools were taken from a building in N. 2nd Street on March 21. The tools were valued at $430. 
  • Two trash container doors were taken at Rue Royale Street on between March 1 and March 21. 

Property Damage

  • The reporting party rented an apartment in the 2400 block of Falcons Way for an ex-girlfriend who did property damage to the residence.
  • The subject's vehicle was struck with paintballs overnight while parked in front of his residence at Granger Blvd. on March 22. 
  • An event tent was damaged in New Town.

Forgery

  • A subject passed fraudulent checks at Walmart. The fraudulent checks were found on the suspect. 

Soliciting Occupants Of Motor Vehicle

  • A subject arrested for soliciting and active warrants at westbound Interstate 70 on March 21. 

Assault 3rd

  • In the 100 block of Kunze Drive a brother assaulted his sister and caused a minor injury to her face. The male was arrested without incident.

Driving While Intoxicated 

  • A traffic stop at Fifth and Bass Pro on March 22 led to a suspect being arrested for DWI, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and drug paraphernalia.

Burglary 

  • The front entry of the building was forced open. The cash registers were destroyed and money, estimated at $150, was stolen from a building on Zumbehl Road.
