Unknown Caller Demands Money Or Be Shot in the Head

The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Harassment

  • An unknown caller told victim to wire him some money or he would shoot her in the head.

Stealing

  • A bible and sunglasses, total value of $270, was stolen from a motor vehicle at Sun Lake Drive on April 8.
  • Unlocked vehicles were entered and coins stolen from console, glove boxes ransacked at 32 James Drive on April 8.
  • Copper grounding wire was stolen from an electric substation at West Randolph Street and Madonna Drive. The wire was valued at $1,000. 
  • An iPhone was left at Ford Lane. 

Property Damage

  • A parked car was vandalized at Houston Street. 

Animal At Large

  • On April 8 police responded to Riverview Lane in reference to a dog bite incident to another dog.

Trespassing

  • Two subjects were located on the roof of Blackhurst Elementary. They were subsequently arrested for Trespassing.
