Police Blotter: Rear Bumper Stolen Off Car

The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Protective Custody

  • An intoxicated homeless subject was taken into protective custody in the 1300 block S. 5th Street.

Stealing
  • Three people were arrested for shoplifting at Walmart. Among the items taken were t-shirt, an energy drink and NyQuil.
  • A rear bumper was removed from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Lakeshore Drive. The bumper was valued at $710.
  • A Stihl Backpack Blower and a Stihl pole hedge trimmer, combined value of $1,100, were stolen from the 1400 Block of Hollow Brook Drive.
  • A woman was caught shoplifting in the 2900 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. 
  • Shoplifting from TJ Maxx on Mexico Road. Two women left the area in a purple Hyundai with no license plates. 

Stolen Car
  • A 2000 Dodge Caravan was removed from the parking lot in the 2700 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway by an unknown tow company without owner's consent.
