Police Blotter: Female Flees Store After Attempting to Steal Jeans and Bed Sheets
The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Stealing
- A female subject stole items from Veterans Memorial Parkway on April 4. The items taken included jeans and bed sheets valued at $178.12 When confronted by loss prevention, the female fled the store, and left the area in a vehicle.
- Subject reported having the front license plate stolen off of vehicle sometime on April 4 at an unknown location.
- Gas, valued at $55, was stolen in the 3700 block of Elm Street.
- Aluminum scaffold decks were stolen from a business lot at Little Hills Industrial Blvd.
- Shoplifting occurred near 2000 block of Zumbehl. Suspect detained by loss prevention and released with municipal summons.
Property Damage
- Property damage occurred near the 1400 block of Santa Margarita. Investigation is ongoing.
DWI
