Police: Angry Man Assaults Cop After Interfering With Arrest

Peace Disturbance

• On May 1, police responded to a disturbance between roommates in the 2700 block of Sun Lake Drive. 

Driving While Intoxicated

• A driver was arrested for a DWI at South First Capitol Drive and Sherman Drive on May 2.

Traffic Accident with Property Damage

• A subject was involved in a traffic crash that resulted in property damaged. The subject was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stealing

• A wallet, containing cash and credit cards, was stolen from a vehicle at Bayonne Drive on May 2. The stolen credit card was later used to purchase goods. 
• A subject failed to pay for $10 worth of gas at the Circle K on Droste Road.

 Bad Checks

• A subject wrote checks on a closed checking account.

Burglary

• A burglary took place in the 2000 block of Plaza Court.

Leaving the Scene of an Accident

• A subject left the scene accident in the 3100 block of Elm Street on May 3.

Resisting Arrest

• A subject was arrested for a verbal domestic, assault of a police officer, and interfering/resisting arrest in the 2100 block Santa Fe Drive.
