Police Blotter: $1,900 Worth of Items Stolen from Trunk of Car

Property Damage

  • A trash can was discovered damaged while securing the rest rooms at Booneslick Park on May 10. 
DWI
  • A 30-year-old woman was arrested for a DWI and leaving the scene of an accident at Veterans Memorial Parkway. 
Urinating In Public
  •  A subject was cited for urinating in public in the 200 block of N. 2nd Street on May 11. 
Interference With Legal Process
  • Police responded to a verbal domestic incident in the 2300 block of Sun Lake and cited a subject for interfering with the legal process.
Assault 3rd
  •  Police responded to a domestic assault at Holiday Lane on May 11.
Fraudulent Use Of A Credit Device
  • The victim's brother stole and used her credit card without her permission. Investigation is ongoing.
Stealing
  • Items, valued at $1,900 were taken from an trunk at Sun Lake Drive on May 11. 
  • Jewelry, valued at $4,000, was stolen from Cambridge Court on May 11.
  • An air conditioner unit, valued at $3,000, was stolen from the 3700 block of Mexico Road.
