Update: Police ID Pedestrian Killed As 17-Year-Old From Winfield

Police say they likely won't seek to press charges against the driver.

St. Charles Police identified a pedestrian struck by a car early Friday morning on Veterans Memorial Parkway as 17-year-old Jordan Donaldson of Winfield, Mo. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the accident investigation continues but charges are not expected to be filed against the driver of the car that hit Donaldson. Our earlier story: Lt. Mike Akers said around 6:15 or 6:30 a.m. a man was struck and killed at Spring and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

The person who hit the man pulled over, he said.
