Home Burglarized While Homeowner Slept

Timothy Frank Harris was charged with first-degree burglary. Police say he stole a credit card while the homeowner slept upstairs.

A St. Charles man is accused of breaking into a St. Charles County home and stealing a credit card March 1.

Timothy Frank Harris, 32, was charged March 4 with first-degree burglary. Harris' last known address was listed as the 3600 block of Deerfield Drive in St. Charles.

St. Charles County Sheriff’s investigators said Harris entered a home in the 3000 block of Bluffwood Drive in St. Charles County near Ehlmann Road and stole a credit card. The homeowner was upstairs asleep during the burglary, police said.

Bail was set at $50,000, cash only.
