'Gang Member' Sells Heroin, Crack to Undercover Cop in St. Charles, Police Say

St. Charles County Drug Task Force members said Gregory Roy Steed, a documented gang member, sold drugs to an undercover officer on South Fifth Street three times in April.

A St. Louis man faces drug dealing charges after St. Charles County Drug Task Force members said he sold heroin and crack cocaine to an undercover officer in St. Charles.

Gregory Roy Steed, 23, of the 1100 block of Hickory Street in the city of St. Louis, was charged April 24 with four counts of distributing a controlled substance.

An undercover officer with the Drug Task Force said Steed sold him heroin three times, once each on April 8, April 16 and April 23 at a gas station in the 1600 block of South Fifth Street in St. Charles. He said Steed also sold him crack cocaine April 23.

A Drug Task Force member reported in a court document that Steed is “a documented gang member” and had warrants for his arrest in the city of St. Louis.

Steed is being held by St. Charles County Corrections. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only.
