Man Smashed Beer Bottle Over Ex-Girlfriend's Head, Severely Cutting Face and Head
Michael Alan Nunn, of St. Charles, was charged with second-degree domestic assault after police say he broke a beer bottle over his ex-girlfriend's head Thursday, cutting her face and head in three places.
A St. Charles man broke a beer bottle over his ex-girlfriend’s head Thursday, cutting her face and head in three places. One three-inch-long gash was deep enough to cause underlying fatty tissue to protrude, according to a court document.
Michael Alan Nunn, 43, of the 1400 block of Carbine Lane in St. Charles, was charged Thursday with second-degree domestic assault. The assault took place at their home, police said. He and his ex-girlfriend live together, according to a police report.
St. Charles Police said two witnesses told police Nunn hit his ex-girlfriend with the bottle during an argument, including Nunn’s current girlfriend.

His ex-girlfriend also said Nunn hit her with the bottle, but she did not wish to prosecute.
Nunn is being held by St. Charles County Corrections. Bail was set at $25,000, cash only. He also is to have no contact with his ex-girlfriend.
