Man on Probation For Selling Drugs Caught With Heroin, Police Say
Marcus L. Brownlee was charged with distributing a controlled substance after St. Charles Police said they found he had six capsules of heroin on May 4.
A St. Charles man on probation since September for dealing drugs, faces another drug dealing charge after police say they caught him with heroin on May 4.
Marcus L Brownlee, 25, of the 100 block of Cole Boulevard in St. Charles, was charged May 6 with distributing a controlled substance.
St. Charles Police said Brownlee had six capsules containing heroin on May 4. Police said he provided a written confession that says he intended to sell the heroin.

Brownlee pleaded guilty Sept. 19 to three counts of distributing a controlled substance. He had been given a five-year prison sentence, but the sentence was suspended and Brownlee was placed on five years probation.

He also is on probation for assault, according to a court document.
Brownlee is being held by St. Charles County Corrections. Bail was set at $30,000, cash only.
