The house was condemned by the city of St. Charles Building Department. Spokesman Scott Queen said the university had an assessment of the building completed Monday.

"It's significantly damaged," Queen said. "It's moved on the one side, like 6 inches off the foundation."

Queen said no decisions have been made about what to do with it yet. He said No one is immediately scheduled to move into the house since graduation just took place.

Edgerson had just graduated on Saturday and was planning to move out Sunday morning.

"We were able to go in and get our things," he said. "They were really great about that. We saw that the house is totally unsound."

Edgerson returned to Kansas City, MO, yesterday and said he will start graduate school in July.
