Jevone Little Sentenced to Life in Prison for Christmas Eve Shooting
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Little was sentenced Monday in the killing of Brandon Joyce in 2012.
Jevone Little, 22, was sentenced Monday to life in prison for shooting Brandon Joyce, a Duchesne graduate and pro football player, on Christmas Eve 2010, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Little pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, armed criminal action and attempting to sell a controlled substance in October, according to the story in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Read more about the sentencing here.
According to police, Joyce was shot near the America's Best Value Inn & Suites parking lot in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve 2010 after meeting with Little and three others.

Tory Brooks, 22, who was a passenger in the car at the time, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in the shooting. Cory Brooks pleaded guilty to second degree murder and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Deveon Shockley, 23 was also sentenced to 30 years in prison on Monday.
