Golden Corral Employee Robbed at Gunpoint

Police say the employee was closing up for the night when they were confronted by a man with a gun demanding money.

St. Charles Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a Golden Corral employee at gunpoint late Wednesday night. 

According to a release, the robbery took place at 11 p.m. on the parking lot of the Golden Corral at 1800 Zumbehl Road.

Police say the employee had just locked up the restaurant for the night when the man confronted the victim in the parking lot. The man pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim gave the man personal items before the man took off running through the parking lot.

The man is described as being black and about 6-feet tall with a medium build and weighing about 175 pounds. He was also wearing a dark-colored hoodie and a gray scarf covering most of his face.
