Four Men Arrested in Kidnapping

A 22-year-old man told police he was taken from his home at gunpoint and beaten over $520.

St. Charles Police arrested four men for reportedly kidnapping a 22-year-old man, binding his hands and feet and torturing him over a $520 debt.

The victim told police he was kidnapped at gunpoint from his house in the 500 block of South Fifth Street on Tuesday evening and was taken to the 400 block of Dove Drive. The victim's feet and hands were bound with Duct tape and he told police he'd been beaten, tortured and robbed, according to a press release. 

The man was able to escape when the suspects left the house for a short time and he was able to call police. St. Charles Police responded at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Shortly after, four suspects were arrested, police said.

Jeffrey Wasser, 24, of the 400 block of Dove Drive in St. Charles, Curtis Wasser, 31, of the 12000 block of Shoreridge Court in Maryland Heights, were arrested for kidnapping, robbery in the first degree, assault in the second degree and armed criminal action. Bond was set at $100,000 cash only for each man.

Ryan Koenig, 24, of the 400 block of Dove Drive in St. Charles, and Christopher Lujan, 22, of Midland, TX, were arrested and charged for kidnapping. Bond was set at $75,000 for each man.
