Four Charged in St. Charles West High School Fight

St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed misdemeanor charges against four people.

Four people were charged with misdemeanor trespassing and peace disturbance following the Feb. 8 fight at St. Charles West High School. 

Trevon Dyer, 17, of St. Charles, James Tillman, Sheila Holman and Chevayon Applewite, all 17 and from St. Louis County, were charged, according to a press release from the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's office. 

According to the release, Dyer, a student at St. Charles West, propped a door in the small gym of the school along with another student who is a juvenile. Tillman, Holman and Applewhite, none of whom are students in the district, entered the building and then were involved in a brawl with students from St. Charles West High School.

Misdemeanor charges carry a maximum punishment of one year in jail and a fine of $1,000. The defendants were issued a summons to appear in St. Charles County circuit court on April 10. 

The St. Charles School District suspended 11 students from the school district for their involvement in the fight.
