Five Injured in Car Crash on South Outer Road 364

Four St. Charles teens and one other were injured in a one-vehicle crash on Route 364.

Five teens were injured in a one-vehicle crash Monday night on south outer road of Route 364, just east of Harvester Road.

Tariq Eddington, 21, of St. Charles, was traveling eastbound on the south outer road in a 2003 Saturn L300 when it crashed just after 7 p.m. Monday night.  According the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Eddington swerved to the left, forcing the car to travel off the roadway. The car then made its way onto eastbound Route 364 and crossed all lanes of traffic before striking a concrete median. 

All five people in the car sustained moderate injuries. Ali Brown, 16, of St. Peters and Eddington, along with 18-year-old St. Charles resident Desiree Muratori, were taken to by St. Charles County Ambulance. Cordrique Eiland, 18, of St. Charles, and Ashlyn Moeckli, 16, of St. Charles, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.

Eddington and Eiland were wearing safety devices, but Brown, Moeckli and Muratori were not. 

The car was totaled.
