St. Louis Residents Raise Funds for a Cure at Jingle in July for Arthritis

The Christmas season made an early appearance on Saturday July 12 for the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle in July.  This event served as a kick-off for the big Jingle Bell Run/Walk coming in November.  There were approximately 175 participants, and over $3,000 was raised in the fight against arthritis.

Sponsored nationally by AbbVie and presented locally by Advanced Bone & Joint, the Jingle Bell Run/Walk series raises awareness and funds to fight and cure arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability.

If you missed all the fun, don’t worry!  You will have another chance on Sunday, November 23 at this year’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk.  For more event details, information on this year’s honorees, the All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast, how to form a team, fundraising, registration and more, contact Donna Henderson at (314) 447-4883 or dhenderson@arthritis.org or visit the website at www.jinglebellrunstl.org

Striking one in every five adults and 300,000 children, arthritis is the nation’s leading cause of disability. The Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) is committed to raising awareness and reducing the impact of this serious, painful and unacceptable disease, which can severely damage joints and rob people of living life to its fullest. The Foundation funds life-changing research that has restored mobility in patients for more than six decades; fights for health care policies that improve the lives of the millions who live with arthritis, and partners with families to provide empowering programs and information.
