ST. ANN, Mo. – Brookes Bible College, an evangelical higher academic institution serving the metro St. Louis region, is proud to announce the opening of their brand new Lois Friess Memorial Library.

The library is part of their new campus, which recently opened its doors for the first time Tues., May 20, just in time for summer courses to begin.

Located on the first floor, the new library features several components that students, faculty, alumni, and others will enjoy including computer workstations with four PC computers, reference books, commentaries, study areas, a formal study area with plenty of tables and chairs to use, and much more. The library is also Wi-Fi enabled for those who bring in their personal devices to use.

“We are very proud of our new library and are really looking forward to our students, faculty, and others to use,” said Dr. Chris Stocklin, President of Brookes Bible College. “Everything a person could possibly need is located in three large interconnected rooms; they no longer have to traverse up and down the stairs to locate what they need.”

The library, which is especially geared toward students, faculty, alumni, and members of the clergy, houses over 5,000 titles in the subject areas of religion, Christianity, Old Testament, New Testament, doctrinal theology, and practical theology. The catalog is available online and is searchable via the college’s website. While not open for the public for borrowing purposes, all are invited to visit the library and use the materials it has onsite.

“Our librarian will soon be acquainting our students with the library’s resources and services and will give students a tour of the new space,” Dr. Stocklin said. “Needless to say, our students are all very excited for this new library and can’t wait to explore it.”

Located at the entrance level of the Brookes Bible College’s new campus building, the library’s hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays

Brookes Bible College offers an affordable, two-year program. Each student gains a greater knowledge of the Bible. Brookes’ students are equipped with tools for applying the knowledge they gain for various fields of Christian service.
