Quilting Circle, Civil War, and Saint Charles

St. Charles, Missouri is the setting for the newest Historical Fiction by novelist Mona Hodgson!

My March 2012 reasearch trip to St. Charles, Missouri gave me the basis for my next series of historical novels with WaterBrook Press, a Division of Random House.

Readers of The Sinclair Sisters of Cripple Creek Series set in Colorado in the late 1890's are going back in time.

1865. Saint Charles, Missiouri. Some came home from the war. Many didn’t.

The women of the Saint Charles Quilting Circle waited and prayed . . . Dandelions on the Wind.

The Quilted Hearts eNovella Series Explores
Post-Civil War Missouri

In this three-novella series, available exclusively as eBooks, readers will
meet the ensemble cast of The St. Charles Quilting Circle, all of whom have
loved and lost during the war. The series follows these women as they look to
the future. Who will remain in Missouri? Who will take steps, whether timid or
sure, toward a new life elsewhere?

Do you have a favorite novel or novella set in St. Charles, Missouri?
