First Stop on Novel Research Trip: Gateway Arch

Historical novelist returns to Missouri to research St. Charles for her next series, The Quilted Heart.

Finally, March 2012 marked my return to Missouri. This time as a historical novelist writing for WaterBrook Press, an imprint of Random House. This time to do the research for my new series, The Quilted Heart, set in 1865, St. Charles.

First stop: The Gateway Arch and museum in St. Louis. Everything about the grounds and the Arch mesmorized me, but the museum...well, it was like a candy store with all my favorite sweets.

Less than one year later, Dandelions on the Wind, the first of The Quilted Heart Novellas releases on February 19th.
