Martin Luther King Day of Service
Brighten the Day of Hospice Patients: Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'" January 20, 2014 will mark the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday and has been designated as a Day of Service across the country . If you, your children or your grandchildren are off from work or school, this is the perfect opportunity to honor Dr. King’s legacy through service. Crossroads Hospice has a fun, simple and meaningful way for you to meet a 'need of the spirit'--come to our office in Maryland Heights for simple refreshments and make colorful cards to brighten the days of our hospice patients. A great activity for people of all ages and abilities! Additional kid crafts will be available, as will information about other ways in which you can volunteer at Crossroads. Make your day off a "day on"!
