Monday Night Football with NFL Former Player Assoc. St. Louis Chapter
ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI (October 5, 2012) –Ever wondered what your favorite NFL player was thinking when he made a headline play? Or, wished you could give game
changing advice to a rookie? Now is your chance to meet face-to-face with current and former gridiron giants at the monthly Monday Night Football Fundraiser, presented by the National Football Players Association (NFLPA) Former Players St. Louis Chapter.
“Volunteerism and philanthropy are two pillars of NFLPA Former Players St. Louis’ charitable engagement program,” explained Bernard Whittington, chapter president and former Indianapolis Colt. “We will not ‘take a
knee’ to the needs of our community and area families.”
The NFLPA is an advocacy organization for players. Proceeds from the family-friendly monthly event will benefit area youth whom the organization supports by promoting economic empowerment and health
awareness through academia, athletics and the arts.
