Local sisters release book

Five sisters who grew up in the Kane County Village of Virgil announce the Release of their book and Pre-release signings.

Aurora, IL – Fluffy, Funny, and Fabulous- A Tale of Five Sisters has been published by Tate Publishing. (www.tatepublishing.com)   The book written by Anita (Altepeter) Lewis, Vicki (Altepeter) Foley, Linda (Altepeter) Tarmichael, Ruth (Altepeter) Kenyon, and Helen (Altepeter) Landrum  is the true story of five sisters from the small farming community of Virgil, Illinois. Chuckle as they share their childhood adventures. Reminisce with them as they each tell their own stories of small-town

life during a quieter time. And finally, be inspired by their combined strengths to overcome challenges as they draw upon their faith. Fluffy, Funny, and Fabulous will leave you either wishing you could be a part of their family or deeply appreciating the family you were blessed with.


The books official release is December 18, 2012 when it will be available at national book sites such as Amazon.com but the book can be purchased now through the Publishers website (www.tatepublishing.com)  or at several pre-release book signing events in the area. 

All five sisters will be on hand to meet and greet customers and sign the book at the following events the weekend of November 16- 18th:  Friday, November 16, 3 pm to 5 pm @318 Coffeehouse, 318 S.  3rd Street Geneva, Il;   Saturday, November 17, 10 am to 1 pm @ the Luau Coffeehouse, 40W301 Rte 64 Wasco, IL;  Saturday, 4 pm to 7 pm  @Pheasant Run Resort ,4051 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL or on Sunday,  November 18, 10 am to 12 pm @Plum Landing, 495 N Lake Street, Aurora, and in the afternoon between 3 pm and 6 pm @Lil’ Jim’s Country Tavern on Route 64 in Virgil.
