Cub Scout Pack 530 Garage Sale

Cub Scout Pack 530 in St. Charles is organizing an event that supports not only their own scouts, but in turn will help others in the community.
This fall, Pack 530 will host its first "Garage Sale" at their Charter organization, the St. Charles Lions Club. The sale will consist of items donated from the Pack families, neighbors and other supporters in the community. The sale of these items will benefit the Pack in several ways. Primarily, the sale will support camping activities, service projects and other character building activities. 


In addition to the sale, the Cub Scouts will also be offering a presale of Cub Scout Popcorn, available onsite for purchase. The sale will take place on Saturday, September 28 from 8am - 4pm. All items are tax deductible. At the end of the sale, all items will be delivered to the local Goodwill store. By hosting the sale, the Pack hopes to raise funds to facilitate programming and in turn, help the community through resulting donations to Goodwill. 

In terms of donations, the Pack is looking for toys, games, clothes (in good condition), tools, knickknacks, small appliances, electronics, kitchen items, books and furniture.
