There's Still Time to See Santa Before Christmas

This weekend, you can breakfast with Santa, have your picture taken with Santa, pet Santa's reindeer and then see him off on his journey back to the North Pole!

Santa will soon be packing his sleigh for the trip back to the North Pole, but you can still catch Santa around the St. Charles area this weekend—in case you want to add a few things to your list. Here's where:

St. Charles Christmas Traditions

The Mother-in-Law House is having a Breakfast with Santa on Sat., Dec. 22 at 9 a.m. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for children.

Photos with Santa are offered at Santa's Cottage, 222 N. Main on Sat., Dec. 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sun., Dec. 23 from noon to 5 p.m.

And finally, on Christmas Eve at 1:30 p.m., you can see Santa off on his way back to the North Pole. The send-off parade starts at 1000 S. Main and ends at Berthold Square at the corner of First Capitol and S. Main.

Children can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Sat., Dec., 22, receive a small gift bag and have a chance to ride the outdoor train for free from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They can also play in a bounce house and enter a coloring contest. 

Kids and adults are invited to see the famous Christmas train display from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Jehling Hardware is located at 1133 North Main St., O'Fallon.

The Von Maur store at The Meadows will be hosting Santa Claus on Sat., Dec. 22 and Sun., Dec. 23 from noon to 5 p.m., and on Christmas Eve from noon to 3 p.m. Families can get a free professional picture with Santa and they are also welcome to bring their own cameras.

And there's more Christmas fun! On Sat., Dec.. 22 and on Christmas Eve, shoppers can get free hot chocolate from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Free horse-drawn carriage rides are available on Sat., Dec. 22 from noon to 5 p.m. and on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Sat., Dec. 22, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., children can visit not only with Santa, but with one of his reindeer! Families are welcome to bring their cameras.

Dairy Queen is located at 702 S. Church Street in Wentzville.

Shamrock's, St. Peters

Santa will be visiting St. Peters' newest Irish pub and grill at 6 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 22. Families are welcome and encouraged to visit. And maybe Santa will stick around for karaoke at 9 p.m.!
